FAQs
Is fuel included when I rent at Lake Lewisville?
All rentals include a full tank of gas. This should be more than enough to keep you carving up the lake for your entire rental duration.
Do I need experience?
We chose Yamaha WaveRunner EX jet skis due their suitability to both novice and experienced riders. So after a quick operational and safety walkthrough, you will be confident and ready to launch your lake adventure. NOTE: All renters & pilots must be 21. Also, anyone born after September 1st, 1993 MUST have a Texas Boater Safety certificate to rent or pilot any watercraft on Lake Lewisville.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, water, towel, sunglasses or goggles with a strap. We can provide a waterproof pouch to carry your smaller belongings. Waterproof phone pouch recommended.
Where should I park at the Little Elm Boat Ramp?
There is free parking in the lot at the Little Elm Boat Ramp. It can fill up on busy days, so if needed you can park next to the lot at the Little Elm Park. It is a short walk from there to the dock. Price varies for the park, usually around $10 for the day.
How early should I arrive?
Plan to arrive 20 - 30 minutes before your scheduled time, especially on weekends and holidays. The Little Elm Boat Ramp can get busy, so plan enough time to park, gather your things, and walk down to the dock.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If conditions aren’t safe in Little Elm or over Lake Lewisville, we’ll work with you to reschedule. Check your booking for the exact weather/cancellation policy. Rain does not automatically constitute a weather cancellation.
Can two people ride together?
Yes—most rentals support up to two riders per ski (weight limits apply).
Can I bring drinks and snacks?
Of course! Jet skis have limited space for coolers, so we offer RIDE brand saddle-bag style coolers, made specifically for jet skis, that are available as an add-on to your rental. Each jet skis can carry 1-2 coolers, giving you plenty of room for all the refreshments you will need for your day. Check our Add-Ons page for details.
Where all can we ride the jet skis?
Lake Lewisville is large with plenty of room to roam and fun to explore. We’ll point out no-wake zones, areas great for riding, and areas that are best to avoid due to submerged vegetation.
